Enterprise mobility IT specialist firm set to scale product innovation and workforce following SEED investment
By Bruntwood
Birmingham-based IT company On Device Solutions (ODS) is preparing for a period of “growth and development” following the announcement of its successful raise of an undisclosed amount, signifying its first round of private investment.
The IT consultancy specialises in Enterprise Mobility products and services, helping businesses unlock value by helping them get anywhere and anytime access to the information stored in enterprise systems like SAP.
The funding, injected by a single investor, allows On Device Solutions to triple its team across India and the UK, increasing from 32 to 100 staff. The cash injection also enables the IT consultancy to bolster sales and marketing efforts for its myJobCard product.
Navdeep Singla, Director at On Device Solutions said: “Receiving this level of support from an investor gives us confidence to think long term, investing in new product development, enhancing our offering as an IT consultancy and making continuous improvements to our existing product portfolio. As a result of the raise, we’re looking to expand our existing client portfolio, which currently spans the UK, UAE and Nordic regions. With this expansion comes a capability to take on bigger, more complex projects, driving growth and taking us to the next level as a company.”
Launching at the end of 2017, the myJobCard 2.0 mobile solution and app has been integrated with next generation business suite S/4HANA® from software company SAP®.
Based on SAP® technologies including SAP® Cloud Platform Mobile Services and SAP® Gateway, the software has been made available on the SAP® App Center in a bid to support mobile asset management, boost productivity, and enhance workplace safety and reliability.
