Building a successful tech startup requires more than just a great idea; it demands a strong, supportive network. Virtual psychological skills platform, Thrive in Mind, joined our Female Founders tech incubator at Platform in Leeds specifically to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and female founders. Co-founder Rachel Varley discovered that sharing a dynamic coworking space with like-minded innovators makes overcoming business obstacles significantly easier.

By plugging into this deeply collaborative environment, founders can seamlessly share knowledge, solve problems together, and build the confidence needed to grow their businesses. Watch this video to see how the right community transforms challenges into exciting new opportunities.

We have built a virtual platform which teaches people how to better build psychological skills. It's Thrive in Mind; I'm the co-founder. Increased resiliency, it's particularly aimed at employees in the workplace.

So in terms of what brought me to the incubator, I think it was the opportunity to spend time with other entrepreneurs, particularly other female founders. I think if you've got that network around you, it's easier to keep going. And also, people help you problem-solve whatever that obstacle is, and they might have just the right thing to help you with that. And all of a sudden, you know, you're back on track.

You feel like a really different person. Although in some ways I think the core things remain, I feel quite able to ask for help instead of seeing it as something that feels scary. It's kind of like, 'Ooh, what really great things could happen today that comes out of this?' You know? So I think that's been quite significant, really.
