A trio of companies have kicked off the new year by arriving at Wilderspool Park, once home to local brewery Greenall’s.
International digital agency Jellyfish, accountancy firm Slater Sheldon and financial planning company LJ Financial have taken space at the Bruntwood Works-owned business park in Stockton Heath, Warrington.
Set in landscaped grounds, Wilderspool Park features four historical buildings that offer a mix of serviced, leased, managed and virtual spaces, appealing to businesses of all sizes from start-ups and SMEs through to larger, corporate businesses.
Located in Whitehouse, a grade II-listed building which houses all inclusive serviced offices is Bruntwood Works’ newest customer, family-run accountancy firm Slater Sheldon Partnership.
Managing Partner Daniel Slater said: “We feel moving into the Whitehouse provides a great base for the whole team to work together and is an ideal premises for our clients to visit us.”
Financial planning consultancy LJ Financial Planning, has set up a satellite office at the Whitehouse. Independent financial adviser Suzanne O’Connor said: “We’re currently undergoing an exciting period of growth, so launching a smaller satellite office here at Wilderspool Park provides us with an extra base that's local to our main office in Wilderspool Causeway.
“The space is ready-made for us, meaning we’ve been able to move straight in and embed ourselves within the community.
“We’re constantly evolving and so the move signals an exciting time for us, especially given the excellent location and unique character of the building.”
Neighbouring the Whitehouse at Wilderspool Park are the Brewhouse, Quayside and Malt Building, all featuring open plan office spaces that still have original features such as sash windows, high beamed ceilings and exposed brickwork.
Completing the line-up of new additions is digital marketing agency Jellyfish which is hoping that its new office in the Malt House building - aptly named as it was originally used for converting cereal grain into malt for the brewery - will give the firm a platform to expand across the North West, following huge global expansion during the last two years.
UK managing director Rick Lamb said: “A large proportion of client meetings take place at The Shard in London, so we knew we had to find a space that had the right look and overall style when searching for a North West base. We have a strategy in place to expand across the region this year, so Wilderspool Park gives us both accessibility and a slick, professional space.”
Daniel Lewis, Senior Commercial Manager at Bruntwood Works, said: “Wilderspool Park’s accessible location and unique surroundings are two of its main draws for businesses of all sizes.”
“Coupled with the close-knit business community that places like Wilderspool Park offers, Jana, our on-site Customer Manager and her team provide a full event programme so customers can have fun, collaborate and get to know their neighbours.”
“We’re thrilled to have Jellyfish, Slater Sheldon and LJ Financial Planning on board and look forward to being part of their next chapter.”
All offices at the Whitehouse are equipped with superfast internet, on-site car parking, business lounge, on-site cafe, meeting rooms and reception.
