Specialist developer PJ Livesey has revealed plans to bring listed buildings at Alderley Park back into use alongside a range of new build houses and a stunning new waterside apartment building.
The Trafford Park-based company has submitted detailed plans centred around the park’s historic courtyard that would create 34 homes including 17 converted two and three-bedroom mews houses and three storey townhouses accommodating up to four bedrooms.
It also proposes a statement apartment block facing onto the park’s unique Water Garden, with far reaching views from the penthouse properties on the fifth floor. The building will have just 23 large two and three-bedroom apartments, each with private balconies cantilevered over the water giving the residents their own outlook onto this unique setting.
PJ Livesey’s application forms part of plans – approved by Cheshire East Council in February 2016 - to create a vibrant new community at Alderley Park, including up to 275 homes, new sports and leisure facilities, a gastro pub, hotel and farm shop.

An extension to the Grade II listed upper courtyard buildings will create 14 townhouses with high quality materials echoing the rich character of the historic buildings.
Planit-ie has designed the landscaping and all public realm areas, taking cues from the existing mature setting, while referencing the diverse history of Alderley Park.

Furthermore, the creation of new dwellings of the highest architectural standard and new landscaping will complement and enhance the existing historic courtyard buildings.
“It is a scheme unlike anything else before seen in the Borough and one that it has been incredibly exciting to have been involved in.”
If planning is approved work on the scheme would begin this spring with the first homes available in early 2018.
