Bruntwood has unveiled a vibrant, contemporary new reception area at its historic Cotton Exchange building in Liverpool.

The transformed space on Bixteth Street features two new meeting rooms, a series of informal collaboration and breakout spaces, new refreshment facilities and a relocated welcome point.

This is the latest phase in an extensive refurbishment of the building, once the nerve centre of the global cotton trading industry and now home to a wide range of businesses from the digital and creative sectors.

Tony Reed at Bruntwood says: “The contemporary interior of the Cotton Exchange, the eclectic range of workspaces and the businesses that now call the building home are almost unrecognisable compared to ten years ago.

“We wanted the reception area to reflect the available office spaces that currently remain within the building, all offering a modern, design-led twist on one of the city’s most historic settings.

“It has been thoroughly transformed and we are really excited to reveal the results to our existing and potential future customers.

“Allied with features such as the roof garden and The Old Hall events space, they now have an exciting, dynamic location for daily, informal collaboration to help develop their businesses.”
