Leading property developer Bruntwood is giving members of the public the chance to name the newest building at the landmark Didsbury Technology Park development.

The competition to name the new building, which will feature high-quality research and innovation office space, will run from 23rd January ‘till 10th February, with judging on the entries commencing shortly after.

The judging panel will consist of representatives from Bruntwood and Spire Healthcare, who are residents of the development. Ideas can be submitted via Bruntwood’s Twitter account or through the company’s website. The winner will receive an invite to the building launch party and £50 of John Lewis vouchers.

Andrew Cooke, regional director at Bruntwood said: “Community and collaboration is central to our vision for Didsbury Technology Park, so we’re delighted to be inviting our wider community to play a role in the future of the site by choosing a name for the newest building at the park.

“Didsbury is home to some of the most exciting and ambitious science and technology companies in the UK and builds on the region’s significant capabilities in science and technology. There’s a lot of power in a name, and we can’t wait to receive submissions for a vibrant, inspiring name, which will speak to the exciting and innovative work taking place here.”

The development sits off Princess Parkway in West Didsbury, and is one of the best-connected sites in the city, providing excellent links to both the Oxford Road Corridor innovation district and the airport.
