The Plaza has become the first commercial building in Liverpool to offer augmented reality workspace viewings.
Owner Bruntwood has introduced the AR technology, which offers visitors contemporary workspace scenes that are displayed on an iPad over the vacant space to enable them to visualise how it could be used in the future.
The concept also showcases the building’s eye-catching views over the city by highlighting key landmarks on the Liverpool skyline, including the Liver Building, St John’s Beacon, the two cathedrals and both football stadia.
It was designed in conjunction with North West creative agency Holdens with the theme ‘Broaden Your Horizons’. The space has also been dressed by I Want Plants.
Tony Reed, head of commercial at Bruntwood, said: “We are always looking for new ways to showcase our workspaces and give visitors a sense of how they might be able to use them as a launchpad to propel their businesses forward.
“By projecting potential layouts and themes over the physical space, the AR platform will hopefully fire people’s imaginations and it promises to be a great addition to our suite of options for existing and future customers.”
Ted Holden, managing director at Holdens, said: “We were really excited to be asked to work on a new AR viewing experience for Bruntwood. It is the first of its kind in Liverpool and uses augmented reality to allow potential customers to picture themselves in the space using an iPad.
