Bruntwood has appointed Nuno Miller as its first ever Chief Technology Officer, marking a significant step forward in its ambition to make digital, data and technology a strategic differentiator for the business.

In recognition of the importance of the role, Miller will report directly to CEO Chris Oglesby, and work closely with the Executive Team to shape business strategy and lead the next stage of Bruntwood’s digital transformation. He joins Bruntwood from N Brown, where, as COO, he led Transformation, Technology, Data & AI and Cybersecurity. During his tenure, he played a key role in the Group’s enterprise-wide transformation into a digital-first, AI-enabled platform business, including the development of a new multi-brand eCommerce platform and the modernisation of its legacy technology estate.

Prior to N Brown, Miller held senior technology, digital and transformation leadership roles at Farfetch, Deloitte and Sonae, working across retail, eCommerce and consumer businesses. Throughout his career, he has combined technology and digital transformation with a strong focus on business outcomes, customer experience, operational performance and organisational change.

Bruntwood focuses on creating market-leading environments for businesses, including some of the UK's most innovative organisations. The creation of the CTO role reflects its ambition for the digital experiences it offers to match that same quality, and for its own business to evolve alongside the customers it supports.

For customers, this means connecting interactions across the business, simplifying customer journeys and using data to deliver more responsive, personalised service. For colleagues, it means more intuitive tools and better access to information, supporting collaboration, productivity and faster, better-informed decisions.

Miller will also help identify opportunities to use data, AI and automation to improve service, reduce manual processes and unlock new opportunities for innovation, with investment focused on delivering measurable commercial value. Alongside this, he will evolve Bruntwood’s technology and digital team, strengthening its capabilities and expertise while embedding digital thinking across the wider organisation, so that technology becomes an increasingly integral part of how the business operates, evolves and creates value.

Chris Oglesby, CEO of Bruntwood, said: “As we mark 50 years as a business, creating this role is a clear statement of where we’re heading next. Our customers expect the same quality from their digital experience as they get from the spaces we create, and our colleagues deserve tools that help them do their best work. Nuno brings exactly the experience we need to make technology a real differentiator for Bruntwood, and I’m delighted to welcome him to the Executive Team.”

Nuno Miller, Chief Technology Officer at Bruntwood, said: “Bruntwood has built exceptional places and communities where innovative businesses thrive. The opportunity now is to use technology and data to make them even more connected for the people who use them. By bringing together customers, colleagues, buildings and services in smarter ways, and applying AI and automation where they create real value, we can enhance how the business operates today while helping shape the next generation of places, experiences and services.”
