    The Wishing Tree in Liverpool

The Wishing Tree is officially back in Liverpool for another year, helping you to give someone the Christmas they deserve.

Christmas is all about supporting those around you, and especially helping our local communities. At Bruntwood, we’re committed to those communities, and The Wishing Tree encourages customers, colleagues and local businesses to get involved by donating presents from wish lists provided by our charity partners. In previous years, the campaign has delivered over 3000 gifts to young and vulnerable people in our city regions.

Once again, we’ll be getting together with An Hour For Others as our Liverpool charity partner. The organisation supports vulnerable people and helps to inspire change to build a stronger community - and this year the charity welcomes donations for families in need.

“For a local grassroots charity to be recognised by an organisation the size of Bruntwood was so overwhelming!” said Gill Watkins, Co-Founder and Manager at An Hour For Others. “Since that day just over 3 years ago, Bruntwood have supported AHFO in so many ways, volunteering, networking and financially.

“The Wishing Tree uses presents that a child has specifically requested. Any presents that are donated will put a massive smile on a child’s face on Christmas morning and will support a Mum and Dad who may be struggling financially for many reasons.”

If you’d like to get involved, the process couldn’t be simpler: 1) grab a tag from the tree in your building; 2) let your host/receptionist know which tag you’ve taken (they’ll be able to tell you how to return your gift); 3) buy the present, wrap it and return it no later than midday on Monday 13th December.

Should your building not have a Wishing Tree, or if you don’t work in one of our buildings at all but you’d still like to get involved, you can email socialimpact@bruntwood.co.uk and we’ll email a tag to you and provide details of how to return your gift.

(Please note that it may take a little longer for trees to go up in some of our spaces, but fear not - if you don’t see a tree, just ask at reception and we can give you a tag to take away).

Your contribution can really make a difference so let’s help to brighten someone’s day this Christmas!
