At Lokulus, we are a software house providing workflow and automation tools, especially focused around the customer service arena. It's providing that frictionless journey for consumers to interact with the businesses. Over the past few years, Lokulus has evolved many times; over 20 years old this year, we've driven forward from back in the early 2000s being an email management tool to effectively now being an online channel workflow automation toolset.
Looking back to what we achieved over the lockdown, we delivered a transformation project for the BBC and Capita, delivering on a legislative timetable, and we delivered on time and on budget, which is a great achievement given the disruption we had during that project.
Being located at Alderley Park enables our growth for many reasons. It's very important to get teams together to problem-solve, to challenge each other. You can't get away from the knowledge transfer also that you have with casual interactions—the interactions around the coffee machine, the interaction over lunch. That kind of bonding, and that's far more difficult to do remotely.
The reasons we moved was to attract talented individuals, and for me, the wellbeing and the balance of lifestyle that Alderley Park can bring. In terms of the office space, but also the environment—they can walk around the park having a one-to-one, where you can go to the cafe, into the local pub, and just work in a different environment, just really makes it unique.
