Kinomica are world experts in cell signalling profiling for the pharmaceutical industry, so we can provide a service that looks at over 10,000 proteins in one tissue sample. What I love about being located here is we're in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, but we're in the most vibrant scientific environment that you could possibly imagine.
We established and we were only, I think, two or three people at the company at the time. Just at the beginning of this year, we've taken on eight people. So we've grown hugely, and that's sort of feeding into the ecosystem that is in Alderley Park as well.
So the Accelerator has been fantastic. We've had so much support on the Accelerator refining the business case, and also getting us investment as well. And also Series A investment, not just the seed investment. So we were successful in raising 3.9 million, and that's given us really a route to grow the company and commercialise our offering to the pharmaceutical industry, and also to the diagnostics industry as well. And all I can say is watch this space.
