As one of Europe's largest groups dedicated to infectious disease treatments, Infex Therapeutics requires a workspace that actively fuels complex scientific breakthroughs. By locating their operations at Alderley Park, they have successfully transitioned from a preclinical company to conducting global clinical trials in humans.

Immersing their business in our deeply collaborative ecosystem has helped them forge a major commercialisation partnership with Japanese pharma giant Shionogi. Discover how our thriving life sciences community provides direct access to unparalleled scientific expertise, empowering highly specialised teams to accelerate their clinical programs.

Infex is one of the largest groups in Europe focused specifically on generating new opportunities and new products in infectious disease. In the time that we've been at Alderley Park, we've made the really exciting transition from a preclinical development company to clinical trials in people. Infex is a really exciting opportunity for us, and we have a major collaborator on that program with Shionogi, a Japanese major pharma company specialising in infectious disease. It's our hope that by working together they'll be able to take this further on into late-stage clinical trials and on into commercialisation.

Alderley Park is a fantastic location just because of the expertise and knowledge that we're able to access in all of the brilliant companies that are here on site. It means that for each of the programs in our portfolio we can put together the exact team that we need. There's great facilities for staff; it's fantastic to be able to cycle to work and sort of exercise at lunchtime, but on a scientific level, the diversity of companies which is here has been invaluable for our programs.
