“Posie,” a New Drinks-Led Concept From the Team Behind 10 Tib Lane Is Coming to Manchester City Centre

The team behind one of Manchester’s best loved independent eateries, 10 Tib Lane, has announced a brand-new venture coming to Bruntwood SciTech’s Bloc building this Autumn. Posie is set to be a social, vibrant, drinks-led space with cocktails and conversation at its forefront. 

The 1800 sq ft venue will house 50 covers across two levels, with a cocktail bar at its heart. Seats at the bar will look out across the entire space, allowing guests a vantage point to immerse themselves in the creative hub of the venue.  

The drinks menu will feature an extensive and innovative cocktail collection, as well as a great selection of wines, a varied craft beer menu and a full coffee programme, allowing the space to transition from day to night situated right in the middle of the city centre.

The kitchen will serve a seasonal menu of quality plates, designed to complement their drinks offering. Whilst it will be a concise menu, it will be no less considered than the food at sister venue 10 Tib Lane - think oysters, bar snacks and sharing dishes.

Posie will be a place to discover and explore, day or night. With a mix of booth seating, tables, al fresco options and bar seats, the venue is designed as much for enjoying cocktails and oysters as conversations and coffee.  

Bloc is focused on wellness, work-life-balance, and productivity, and is home to forward-thinking companies including Slalom, Medius Software and Coco Green. The building features one of the city’s biggest living green walls, technology to monitor and optimise air quality, a state-of-the-art wellness suite including studio gym, a sleep pod, co-working and office spaces, pop up wellness and physio room, and a cascading garden in the foyer.
