Mersey Makers Market, a brand-new, free-to-attend festival from Bruntwood SciTech in collaboration with CBRE, is coming to Liverpool’s city centre on the 20th March, has now unveiled its full programme of traders and events.

Curated in celebration of Liverpool’s status as one of the UK’s leading cities of innovation, Mersey Makers Market will bring together a plethora of the skilled talent, innovation and diverse creativity that the city has to offer.

An indie pop-up market of 20 stalls will form the heart of the action, located in St Paul’s Square outside The Plaza from 10am-2pm. With everything from solar powered Birchwood jewellery, to a VR simulator, to custom art prints, and free health checks, there’s a dynamic range of incredible traders and independent businesses to explore.

Live music will be curated by the established Liverpool agency, New Power Soul Club, who will be programming the stage with a line up of local artists from their incredible roster, featuring talent from the iconic Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.

Local street food vendors will be popping up with the likes of Slice of Fire Pizza serving up authentic Neapolitan sourdough pizza, and Taka Taka Mam bringing traditional Greek dishes from its award-winning mobile kitchen.

Visitors can also have a go at creating their own piece of ‘Living Art’ with Emma’s Wild Garden, a plant-crafting workshop taking place at 12pm and 1:15pm in The Plaza.

These investments form part of Bruntwood SciTech’s efforts to continue supporting the development of Liverpool’s city-wide innovation ecosystem - an area of huge growth for the city which has become one of the UK’s emerging hubs for technology and life sciences.
