Global professional services company, Accenture, will create a new hub to support its North West clients and locally based teams at Bruntwood SciTech’s No.2 Circle Square.

Accenture will have around 500 employees aligned to the new hub, allowing them to serve clients in the region or, for those based in the area, to work on projects across the UK and beyond.

Christopher Gray, Managing Director for Accenture North West, says: “Accenture works with clients across the UK and the North West on supporting their innovation and transformation journeys.

By relocating to Circle Square, we will be better able to connect to our clients, as well as collaborate as part of Manchester’s ever-growing ecosystem of technology start-ups and major players

Accenture’s expertise in Digital transformation, Cyber Security and Industry 4.0 are particularly relevant to the North West economy and our new location provides the opportunity to better showcase these to our clients

The North West is a region of growth and working with Bruntwood SciTech has given Accenture the support we need as our office space and our community grows.”

Matt Lee, Head of Commercial for Bruntwood SciTech in Manchester, added: “Accenture are a perfect complement to the rapidly growing tech-cluster at Circle Square

The new neighbourhood will open its doors later this year at the heart of Manchester’s thriving innovation district, home to every size of business, from start-ups and scale-ups right through to established global players

Accenture’s desire to establish partnerships and collaborations with its neighbours here is truly exciting and we can’t wait to see new innovations emerge over the years to come.”

The business has moved into Manchester Technology Centre on an interim basis ahead of No.2 Circle Square’s completion later this year.

Accenture will take around 5,000 sq ft of space on the landmark building’s sixth floor.

Accenture has been in Manchester for 30 years, 25 of which were at its previous home at Kingsley Hall near Manchester Airport.
