Mersey Makers Market returns for its second year this April
By Bruntwood SciTech
Following a successful launch last year, Mersey Makers Market is returning to Liverpool’s Commercial District for its second year, celebrating the city’s vibrant community of local makers, creatives and independent businesses.
Taking place on Thursday 30 April, the market will once again transform St Paul’s Square outside The Plaza into a lively, free-to-attend event, bringing together creativity, community and collaboration in the heart of the city.
Delivered in collaboration with CBRE, the event builds on the momentum of its debut, continuing a shared commitment to supporting local talent and creating opportunities for businesses and communities to connect.
Celebrating local talent and creativity
Mersey Makers Market was created as a platform to spotlight Liverpool’s rich creative scene, and that focus remains at the heart of this year’s event.
Visitors can expect a carefully curated mix of independent traders showcasing everything from handcrafted goods and original artwork to artisan food and drink. It’s an opportunity to discover the people and stories behind the products, while supporting the city’s growing network of makers and creatives.
With up to 20 local businesses set to take part, the market brings together a vibrant mix of talent shaping Liverpool today. Alongside the stalls, visitors can enjoy live music from New Power Soul Club artists and a range of delicious food from traders across the North West.
Discover, connect and get inspired
More than just a place to shop, Mersey Makers Market is designed to bring people together.
Alongside the stalls, the event will create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where visitors can connect with local businesses, meet like-minded people and enjoy the energy of the city. From live music to pop-up experiences, there’s something for everyone to spark inspiration throughout the afternoon.
It also reflects the growing community around The Plaza and Cotton Exchange, as part of Bruntwood SciTech’s wider ambition to create spaces where innovation and creativity can thrive.
