Life Science Accelerator

Increase your chances of your life science innovation success with our Life Science Accelerator at Alderley Park. Designed to cater to the unique needs of early stage life science companies from across the UK, the six month programme offers comprehensive support and specialist facilities to fuel your growth and development. The programme will combine specialist laboratory incubation support and business model development, with expertise provided by industry leaders from Bruntwood SciTech partners including Triple Chasm, ThermoFisher Scientific, Marks & Clerk, Pharmalytical Services, Mercia Ventures and Praetura Group, to name a few.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.

Leeds Beckett Accelerate Programme

Gain control of your business, build resilience and push your business to the next stage, the 6 month Leeds Beckett Accelerate programme offers a range of support including pre-recorded masterclasses, live webinars, one to one advice, strategic coaching, funding and access to placement students and graduates. Cohorts run 3-4 times per year.

Leeds Beckett Help To Grow: Management

The Help to Grow programme is a new initiative delivered by Leeds Business School which will support senior managers of small and medium sized businesses to boost their business performance, resilience, and long-term growth. The curriculum will focus on developing your own management capabilities alongside sessions which cover key business topics such as digital adoption, innovation, efficient operations etc. By the end of the programme, you will develop a business growth plan to help you lead your business to release its potential. Part-hosted in our dedicated tech hub next to Leeds train station, Platform, the 12-week programme is 90% funded by the Government and has been designed to allow participants to complete it alongside full-time work.
