Commercial property company, Bruntwood, has appointed Nick Salkeld as Head of Sales in Leeds to strengthen its growing team within the city.
A chartered surveyor, Nick joins after 7 years at the Leeds-based property consultancy Fox Lloyd Jones where he worked in the Agency & Development team.
In this new role, Nick will be working with Craig Burrow, Director of Leeds, to promote Bruntwood’s Leeds portfolio of over 350,000 sq ft of workspace across 6 buildings. He will also be exploring new acquisition projects across the region.
With Bruntwood’s flagship Leeds development, Platform, due for completion this summer, Nick will focus on bringing a diverse range of businesses to the building to create a new business community. Platform sits above Leeds train station and will provide 120,000 sq ft of workspace with a business lounge, roof terrace and event space. Nick’s appointment follows the recent announcement that Platform will be home to a three-floor Tech Hub and has been awarded £2m funding from Leeds City Council to create coworking and studio workspace for the digital sector.
