Independent Italian restaurant Enzo based in Nantwich, Cheshire, is opening a second site in one of Bruntwood’s buildings in Manchester city centre.
The original Enzo site in Cheshire was a finalist in last year’s Italian Awards in the Best Pizza category in the UK. The new site located at Lowry House, 20 Fountain street is set to open Monday 10th April.
The concept for the restaurant is a fusion of Italian cuisine, the Australian coffee scene and a homage to British baking with fresh pizza, pasta, rich coffee and cakes all on the menu.
With a modern vibe, relaxed atmosphere and an indoor and outdoor seating area, the new location for the restaurant will benefit from retail customers shopping near Manchester Arndale shopping centre, retail locations on Market Street and the surrounding central business district.
Owner James Skade said “We are excited to be opening our new location in the city centre after searching for a site for nearly two years. Moving to the city centre from Cheshire has been a big change for us and Bruntwood helped to ensure the process was as smooth as possible. Bruntwood's confidence in Enzo and the planning process has been instrumental in moving the development forward”.
“Working with Bruntwood has been a great experience. The team assisted us throughout the process step by step and built a relationship with us. They truly got to know the Enzo brand and helped develop the concept for the new location”.
James Tootle, Surveyor from Bruntwood said “When we first met James we were really impressed with his passion to develop and grow the Enzo brand. We assisted James in the development of the Enzo concept for the new site and provided guidance throughout the letting and planning process. This is a popular destination just off the high street and Enzo will provide our office customers with a great quality food and drink amenity throughout the day”.
Owners James Skade and Carrie Slater are looking forward to the opening of the new site in Manchester. Enzo’s opening hours will be Monday to Friday from 7.30am until 8.00pm, Saturday 9.00am to 8.00pm and Sunday 10.00am to 6.00pm.
