Bruntwood Sponsors NRB Debate 2023

Blog,
NRB

This year, we're delighted to be sponsoring the NRB Debate on Tuesday 14th March at Manchester Central.

With ongoing challenges in the hospitality industry, the debate is the perfect opportunity to hear from the voice of the hospitality industry.

We'll hear from headline speaker Kate Nicholls OBE, who will be interviewed by Group Event Director of NRB, Chris Brazier about her career and the biggest challenges and opportunities that operators face in 2023 and beyond.

Chris said, “Kate is an absolute hero of mine and I’m looking forward to welcoming her to Manchester. The world has changed immeasurably since I last interviewed her. I’m keen to ask the questions that matter to resilient and ambitious Northern operators in 2023 and indeed beyond. Very few people have Kate’s access to government so I’m looking forward to finding out how she uses this to address challenges and maximise opportunities for the whole sector.”

As well as the headline speaker, the Bruntwood NRB Debate will once again feature a topical
panel chaired by Hospitality, Marketing and Experience Consultant Lucy Noone Blake. This year’s panel discussion will be on Getting Ready for Growth.

This incredible panel of leading operators features Laura Harper-Hinton, Founder & Group CEO, Caravan Restaurants & Caravan Coffee Roasters, Matt Snell, CEO, Gusto Italian, Marko Husak, Co-Founder, Bundobust and Edtya Stec, Director of Operations, GAIL’S, about the best ways of growing your brand, growing your team, and growing your business.

“Northern Restaurant & Bar has created a chance for the F&B sector to collaborate and network as a community - something that those who work in the hospitality industry don't often get time to do. Events like the Bruntwood NRB Debate allow attendees to explore the industry's most relevant and challenging issues in-depth, alongside some of the restaurant
and bar sector's leading commentators and luminaries” said James Tootle, Head of Retail &
Leisure at Bruntwood.

“For us at Bruntwood it's a chance to support talent, innovation, and sharing of knowledge
within the hospitality sector - something which is very important to us as quality restaurants,
bars and cafes are a big part of what makes a neighbourhood special. Our aim is to build amazing places to live, work and play and that's why we nurture independent food and drink
businesses as much as we can. Supporting Northern Restaurant & Bar is a fantastic extension
of this ethos”.
