Bruntwood celebrates Thank your cleaner day Unify

    Blog,
    Unify

Today is national “Thank Your Cleaner” day and over the last couple of days we’ve been showing our appreciation for our amazing Unify cleaning teams.

The current COVID pandemic has put key workers including cleaners in the spotlight and now more than ever people are recognising the hard work they carry out and the invaluable contribution they make.

Cleaning teams can’t choose to work from home and during the COVID crisis, our Unify team continued to visit our spaces and places to keep them safe, hygienic and welcoming.

And we really hope this new found appreciation for our essential workers leads to a lasting change that goes beyond just the one day. It's this principle that certainly guides what Unify do - led by purpose, guided by experience and powered by their people. They’re proud to be a real living wage employer and to offer colleagues tailored benefits packages and development opportunities.

“Thank Your Cleaner” day started in 2015 with the aim of appreciating and celebrating the hard work of cleaners around the world. And so, over the last couple of days, the Unify management team have been out and about thanking the cleaning and encouraging our customers to do the same.

Cleaners are sometimes an “invisible workforce” who service our workspaces outside of normal working hours, so we don’t always get the chance to talk to or thank them. Where we have been unable to see anyone in person, managers have left a thank you note and a small token of appreciation.

If you're a customer or colleague and you see any of the Unify team in your building, please take the time to highlight how much you appreciate what they do (and it doesn’t need to be just for today!).
