This is The Alberton, a modern reimagination of Manchester's Victorian cotton mills with world-leading amenity within its walls. This historical site once housed the Albert Street Police Station and prior to that the Albert Street Gas Works, the first municipal public gas suppliers in the world.
Architecturally, the striking visual appearance of The Alberton will become an iconic standout feature on the local skyline. Its character belongs to Manchester, representing a modern Cottonopolis in its contemporary warehouse aesthetic; visions of Manchester’s mills and industrial history delivered in an entirely modern manner.
