Offices at Base

The £21m​, 91,000 sq ft​ office and maker-space development at Manchester Science Park is a hub for​ Industry 4.0,​ computer engineering, energy technology and low carbon, robotics, light manufacturing, materials science, gaming and animation businesses. Offering flexible​, secure,​​ ​leased or managed​ sustainable ​​office space, and makerspace workshop capability, it will also be home to the Manchester Innovation Activities Hub (MIAH).

Base benefits from a number of green, sustainability measures and has been designed to operate at Net Zero Carbon across communal areas. Measures include an A-rated EPC​, ​704m2 of PV solar power, ​a hybrid heating and cooling system ​with a significant reduction in refrigerant gases, and 360m2 of recycled carpet which has been converted into alternative flooring finishes.
