We are a privately owned family run business so you can't buy shares in Bruntwood, but we can give them to you and that's exactly what we do. Each year every employee is given shares in Bruntwood. The amount depends upon the profitability of the company, the better we all perform the greater the reward, and as the value of the company grows, so does the value of your shares. The scheme is designed to reward commitment and to provide a way to save for the future.

Life assurance policy

From the minute you start your career with Bruntwood, you are included in our company life assurance policy. So, should the unfortunate event of your death occur during your service with Bruntwood, a lump sum of four times your annual salary is paid to your beneficiaries, giving your dependants and relatives some much-needed financial security at a worrying time.

Birthday leave

At Bruntwood, you never have to spend your birthday at work because we give everyone an extra day's leave to allow them to celebrate their birthday in style. One of our favorite benefits.

Private healthcare

Health and wellbeing is a priority for us. Our wellbeing initiatives continue to grow each year. We also give everyone the opportunity to sign up for private healthcare at very little cost. We subsidise your membership so that the only price you pay is the tax on the benefit amount and you can also add your family to the scheme and spread the additional membership cost over 12 monthly-instalments.

Interest free travel loan

The world around us matters and we should can all do our bit to make a change. We offer an interest-free travel loan so that you can buy a bike or an annual bus, tram or rail season ticket helping you to travel to work by more sustainable means.

Childcare vouchers

Balancing commitments between work and the family can be tricky, so at Bruntwood we operate a childcare voucher scheme that gives you a more cost-effective way of paying for your childcare.

Social events

Each year we raise over £130,000 for good causes in the cities where we operate. Our fund-raising events are conceived and run by our people and often involve our customers and suppliers too. They are great social occasions as well as a way of giving something back to the local community.

Volunteering

Bruntwood Cares is our volunteer programme where we our people to get involved with charitable and other organisations in the community. Everyone gets two paid days per year to carry out volunteer work, from literacy mentoring in local schools to supporting homeless people in gaining new skills.
