The SuperTech Serendip Incubator aims to detect future trends in the financial industry and while connecting startups with the various activities and customised business functions of BNP Paribas Personal Finance, SuperTech and Innovation Birmingham. BNP Paribas Personal Finance has identified 3 major challenges for sector and we are looking for startups that can help in developing solutions for these following challenges:
Challenge 1: Automated underwriting processes and decisions
How can we utilise data or digital technologies to improve our underwriting process? This challenge looks to improve business results by infusing machine intelligence into day-to-day decisions, using a combination of automation, prediction and optimisation.
Challenge 2: Data Visualisation
How might we create easy to use, digital reporting applications that are supported by data visualisation (widget-based, build an interface, workflows)? This challenge is aimed at improving reporting within the business to take it beyond Excel.
Challenge 3: Chatbots
How can chatbots be best implemented to make them successful for customer and business usage? This challenge asks participants to consider the use of a conversational chatbot and IVR powered by AI to simplify the customer experience whilst remaining conscious of the design so that customers can find a solution rather than adding another ‘’channel’’ into existing call centres.
