The cities people are attracted to live, work and play in have thriving cultural scenes
Our partnership with award-winning arts and science festival bluedot matters to us because, by nurturing a cultural scene that encourages curious minds, it aligns with our purpose of supporting communities and helping our regions and cities to thrive.
Our most recent cultural partnership sees us support the art, science, music and cultural festival bluedot. The family-friendly festival takes place every summer in the grounds of the Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire attracting 30,000 festivalgoers and more than 800 of the globe’s greatest scientific minds.
The mission of bluedot is to explore the frontiers of human advancement, to celebrate science and the exploration of the universe, to challenge the boundaries between science, culture, art and technology, and to highlight the beauty and fragility of Earth.
Our partnership with award-winning arts and science festival bluedot matters to us because its unique programme inspires creativity and encourages curious minds. This reflects our values and purpose of supporting communities and helping our regions to thrive.
Alongside being able to provide our customers with 48 hour priority booking, we’ll be teaming up with bluedot to curate exclusive panels featuring some of our most innovative customers at the festival itself. What’s more, as part of our partnership, we will be hosting bluedot themed public ‘Microdots’. Plus in 2020, we’ll be launching DotTalks - a series of talks taking place across our existing buildings.
The three-year partnership sees us further expand our support of ground-breaking culture and creativity. The festival nurtures a love of science, arts and music and brings the regions into focus culturally.
